1 crust pie shell
1/4 cup butter
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs
1 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt

In a 425 degree oven bake pie crust for 3 minutes.  Remove form oven.  In a large mixing bowl. cream butter and brown sugar.  Beat in eggs, one at a time.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Fill pie shell with pecan mixture.  Bake at 425 degrees for about 3O minutes.  Serve with whipped topping.
