Serves 8
5 sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup frozen cranberries
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup syrup
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup miniature marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Pierce each potato several times with a fork.  Place potatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle olive oil on each potato.  Bake potatoes until tender, about 25 minutes.  Let cool.  Butter a casserole pan with butter.  Once potatoes are cool, remove skin and cut potatoes into pieces.  Arrange potatoes in casserole pan.  Season with salt and pepper.  Add cranberries.  Add brown sugar, syrup, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.  Mix well.  Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes.  Top casserole with marshmallows.  Bake for 7 minutes, or until marshmallows are  golden brown.  Serve.
