24 slices baquette bread
Olive oil
1 garlic clove, peeled
3/4 pound boneless sirloin steak
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup blue cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/2 cups tomatoes, seeded, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil

Brush baquette slices with olive oil and toast in a 450 degree oven for 3 - 5 minutes until golden brown.  Let cool.  Rub baquette slices with garlic.  Season steak with salt and pepper.  In a skillet over medium heat, sear steak for 4 - 5 minutes on each side.  Let meat rest for 10 minutes.  Chop meat and set a side.  In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, blue cheese, vinegar and mustard.  In anothe rbowl, toss tomatoes, basil, chopped steak and olive oil.  Season.  Spread cheese mixture on toasted bread and top with steak mixture.  Serve.
