4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, peeled and minced
3 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 cups corn kernels
4 cups milk
3 cups heavy cream
Pinch nutmeg
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until tender, about 3 minutes. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minutes. Add corn kernel, milk and heavy cream. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. Add nutmeg. Serve.
