1 whole beef tri-tip (3-4 pounds)
1 1/4 cups beef broth
2/3 cup lime juice
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons dried cumin
2 tablespoons dried coriander
5 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Vegetable oil

Remove all fat from tri-tip.  In a large mixing bowl for marinating, whisk broth, lime juice, olive oil, cumin, coriander, and garlic until well mixed.  Season with salt and pepper, to taste.  Place tri-tip in marinade and turn to coat.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours to 24 hours.
Remove beef from marinade.  Heat grill on medium-high heat.  Grill beef over medium-high heat, turning often for about 1 hour.  Brush meat with oil while cooking.  To serve, slice meat across grain into thin slices.
