1 teas. olive oil    1 (4 lbs) pork shoulder
1 cup barbeque sauce         1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup chicken broth1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tabls. mustard  1 tabls. Worcestershire sauce
1 tabls. chili powder                   1 onion, peeled, chopped
2 cloves garlic, peeled, chopped        2 tables. dried thyme
hamburger buns   butter, if needed

Pour the olive oil in teh bottom of a crockpot.  Place the pork inside
crockpot.  Add the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar and chicken
broth.  Stir in teh brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire suace and
remaining seasonings.  Cover and cook on high until the pork should shreds easily with a fork.  This may take 5 - 6 hours.  Remove meat from crockpot and shred with a fork.  Return meat to crockpot and stir with the cooked sauce.  Serve with hamburger buns and if needed, brush buns with butter and toast.
