(3) 8-ounce cans whole chestnuts, drained, washed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 pounds sliced bacon
1/2 cup brown sugar
Toothpicks

In a medium size bowl soak water chestnuts in soy sauce for one hour.  Remove chestnuts from marinade.  Cut each slice of bacon to estimate wrapping each chestnuts.  Wrap each chestnut with bacon and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  Generously sprinkle chestnuts with brown sugar.  Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.  Bake until bacon is crisp, about 30 minutes.  Serve each chestnut with a toothpick.
