Serves 4
1 pound bag sauerkraut
2 Red Delicious apples, peeled, cored, diced
1/2 cup whole fennel seeds
4 12-ounce smoked pork chops
2 bottles beer

Preheat oven to roast 350 degrees.  In a small roasting pan, combine the sauerkraut, apples and fennel seeds.  Mix well.  Place in oven for 10 minutes.  Remove sauerkraut mixture from oven.  Place pork chops on top of sauerkraut.  Pour the beer over pork chops.  roast in oven for 15 minutes.  Serve.
